Since I am doing a 5K on Sunday (I read all these blogs about half/marathoners and feel silly talking about my 5Ks lol) I don’t want to over do it on the running this week so I have some energy for it on Sunday.
I decided to take a Local Barre class which is a combo of yoga, pilates, and a barre. Man it was HARD! I don’t do pilates much but I think thats what this was mainly. I had a free class that I got at the Arts & Music Festival so I figured why not try it. The classes are pretty expensive ($30) so I don’t know if I will go again but I am glad I tried it. I needed to do some good stretching too because my right hip was bothering me today after my run last night.
So all in all I am glad I tried it! Always looking for different exercise classes to incorporate with my running 🙂
