When you least expect it…

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. Sunday was a rest day, Monday about 3.5 miles with a lot of hamstring/knee pain, Today was an awesome 30 minutes on the elliptical and a bunch of arm exercises with the weights. It feels so good to get a good sweat in!

Here are some snacks I made this weekend:

I have been on a raisin kick lately! Raisins, banana, cottage cheese, and cinnamon.

Warmed salad with beets and white beans.

Here was Jakey helping me take down the ornaments on the tree at my parent’s house on Sunday:

Dinner tonight was a quesadilla and kale with the TJs apple sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms sweet potato mix that I prepped on Sunday.

You can have a lot of them for not a lot of calories and there isn’t a laundry list of ingredients that you’ve never heard of.

I loved this quote from my Mile Post quote tonight 🙂

So back to the caption of my title. Yesterday I saw a text from a number I didn’t know. It was a text from the bartender at the bar that my jacket was stolen from…..THE GIRL RETURNED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She accidentally mistook it for hers and returned it a week later (she doesn’t live in the area).

SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is good. Yes there are hills. But I’m gonna keep on focusing on the positive 🙂
