I hope you enjoyed my Aloha.com recipe! Let me know if you had a chance to try it out! Here are a bunch of tasty eats that I have been enjoying this past week!

Breakfasts:

I love me some overnight oats and I try to imagine and make up different ways to create them!

This was delicious! Banana-Peanut Butter-Chocolate Overnight Oats:

Ingredients: ½ cup of rolled oats, 1 Fage Greek Yogurt, one ripe banana, a tablespoon of Chia seeds, a tablespoon of peanut butter, a few tablespoons of milk, about a tablespoon of cocoa powder, and a teaspoon of honey.

Directions: In a separate bowl mix milk, cocoa powder and honey together. In a separate jar or container mash up a banana then add oats, Chia seeds, peanut butter, Greek yogurt and cocoa/milk/honey mixture all together. Keep in fridge overnight and indulge in the morning.

*Note I like to put in the ingredients in layers like some of the oats, some yogurt, some of the milk mixture, etc. then repeat and then mix, just so all the ingredients are evenly distributed!

Overnight oats in an empty coconut peanut butter jar! I added in some coconut flakes to my usual oats, milk and yogurt mix!

Dinners:

After my long run on Saturday I kept thinking about how I haven’t been to Mr. Wraps in Hoboken in SO long. So I decided to walk over there that night to get my favorite wrap:

Whole-wheat wrap with tuna salad, romaine, Swiss cheese, and avocado. With a house salad and I cooked up some broccoli on the side!

I was in the mood for some pumpkin and needed some texture to throw in it. I got one of these cookies in my box from the Feed.com so I decided to try it. The texture wasn’t so crunchy so I ended up dipping it in my tea. The cookie reminded me of the Honey Stinger waffles, so I am assuming that was why it was in the Feed.com box.

How cute is this Ninja Turtle Fruit Platter that one of my students brought in for his birthday!!

I didn’t buy these but HOW CUTE? I may have to buy them, but I have big rules about Christmas things happening after Thanksgiving, so it has to be an after Thanksgiving purchase.

I hope you all have a fabulous WIAW!

Favorite meal this week? My chocolate-pb-banana oats and my rice dish for aloha.com!

  1. Oh my goodness those salads with mangos and beets all prepped like that, ah they just make me happy…and hungry! Also your overnight oats concoction looks delicious, I have fumbled around with cocoa powered and oats in the past but it wasn’t good. I will have to try your blend of banana and honey and cocoa! Just Yumm

    1. Thank you so much!! I love having my salads prepped for the week, makes packing up my lunch each night nice and quick! The oats were SO good, def give it a try! Just a little cocoa powder goes a long way 🙂

  2. I love your pre-prepped salads, so cute, and such a great idea.

Rip Van Wafels are super big here, they’re a dutch tradition. I like them when you let them heat up over a cup of hot coffee or tea, so the caramel melts, and then you can dunk or eat them plain. Cool idea to have them in pumpkin.

    1. Thank you!! Yeaa I saw on the package that you should put them over the cup of tea and realized why after I bit into them! Much better dunked or warmed up. I assumed they would be crunchy and they weren’t!
