WIAW: The Best Food of 2014

Happy New Year’s Eve! I am having so much fun looking back and reflecting on this amazing year. I normally look back and say eh, it wasn’t so great, blah, blah, but I have such a different attitude this year. I really try to focus on the positive because why not? It just makes you happier and I’d rather feel great than down on myself, what is the point, right?

So to do one more recap of 2014 I am going to share some of my favorite meals for WIAW! There were a TON of great eats, so this is going to be tough!! This year I have developed a healthier mindset about food and eating. I eat pretty “clean” because it makes me feel good, but I indulge when I want, eat the yummy treats I bake, and try new foods! I think I have almost learned how to eat intuitively and listen to my body to it’s cravings and needs. I know what works well for me and what doesn’t and I actually think I eat a lot more than I have in the past because I have learned that we need to nourish our body and muscles, not starve them. I have also learned a TON about cooking and baking this year and I think that is the best part. I know (most of the time) what ingredients I am eating and I actually like my food more than some restaurants. πŸ™‚ 2014 was a great year of eating- here it goes!
