Hello Readers! I am stopping in real quick to share a quick smoothie recipe with you today! As I mentioned, last week I was craving cherries for real! So when I was at Trader Joe’s I immediately spotted these frozen cherries and I knew exactly what I would do with them: make a smoothie!
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 Fage Greek Yogurt
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of almond butter
*Milk to blend cherries and add liquid, as much as you need
First blend the frozen cherries and milk. Then add in rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder and almond butter and a little more milk, blend. Then add the Greek yogurt and blend it all together.
So delicious and craving fulfilled! I topped it with some chocolate granola to give it a little texture.
