Mother’s Day 2015 Recap

I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day! I had a great day cooking, eating and hanging with my mama and family!

Some throwback pics. Top to this winter at our Arte e Vino night and the bottom in Disney World.

I thought it would be fun to share all my recipes and fun from the day!

In a bowl mix: 2 cups of Greek Yogurt, one diced cucumber, juice from one lemon, a few tablespoons of dill, salt, pepper and onion powder to taste. Mix it all together in a bowl and let it mellow for a few hours.

Red Caviar Dip and Crackers

This was actually bought from a Greek store but it was homemade from them!

Watermelon, Cucumber & Feta Salad

Super easy and refreshing dish! Half a watermelon balled, one cucumber peeled and diced, a container of feta cheese, mint, salt, pepper and olive oil, mix it all together and serve immediately!

Grilled Lamb Burgers with Grilled Veggies

1 lb. of ground lamb, paprika, cumin, mint, cinnamon, salt, pepper and olive oil.

Some eggplant and zucchini ready to be grilled!

We served the lamb burgers with pitas that we grilled.

To eat we put some grilled eggplant and the homemade Tzatziki on it. Literally this was one of the most amazing burgers I have ever had in my life. Like sorry to brag, but literally AMAZING.

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

I followed this recipe to make the mousse.

Our new patio and backyard that we got to enjoy!

What an awesome Mother’ Day! It was just so delicious from start to finish, but more importantly it was just so fun to hang with my family and enjoy the beautiful day!!
