Happy WIAW everyone!
Today I am sharing a typical and ordinary day for me! Sometimes I like to share the out of the ordinary but why not change it up and share what a typical work day looks like. These pics are from my actual Wednesday this past week!
Coffee, water and a green smoothie made with Greek yogurt, pineapple, spinach strawberries, chia seeds and I thought oats. Until I started drinking it I realized that I completely forgot to put oats in my smoothie when I made it the night before! I realized that just having fruit and a yogurt all blended together would not be a sufficient enough so I added in more Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal to make it more of a meal. Not sure where my head was at when I was making it!
A salad, TJs Balsamic Dressing, half a potato, and more water. We have water jug at work that I fill up these water bottles and make tea from it all day long to stay nice and hydrated!
Half an almond butter and jelly sandwich and and apple. I have been doing more experimenting with pre/post workout fuel, I am going to share a post soon on my thoughts!
I always go to the gym by my work because I just like getting my workout done rather than driving all the way home then having to walk to gym, etc. Since I have a good hour long drive after my workout because there is always traffic, I have to eat a snack after I workout to help my body with recovery. Plus it keeps me from feeling starving on my drive home. Here I had a hard boiled egg and a banana.
Homemade Quesadilla with a side of a large plate of veggies: kale sauteed with olive oil, cinnamon and raisins, roasted carrots, and roasted Brussel sprouts. Meal prep saves my life after a busy day! I would not be able to eat nutritious and delicious meals if I didn’t meal prep!
Strawberries and a chocolate covered strawberry from my stash that I am keeping in the freezer, that I got from a student for Teacher Appreciation Day!
