Christmas Time in the City

Happy Friday everyone! UM Christmas is almost here, can you believe it? So much to do, so little time! Today I wanted to recap my evening in the city last Saturday with my friend. Every year we take a trip to see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. We had so much fun!

We headed into the city via bus from Hoboken around 5:30 PM. We did hit some traffic but enjoyed catching up on the way.

Then we walked over to 9th Ave to try out a restaurant however they had a 40 minute wait and we were hungry. We decided to just keep walking around and see if we could find something else. It’s hard around that area because it’s very touristy and pricey.

We walked down a pretty street at least. We looked at a few menus and finally stumbled upon a place called Mozzarella e Vino and decided it was perfect for us!

We started by sharing a sample of different mozzarellas:

For dinner we shared the Warm Roasted Vegetable Farro Salad and Rice Balls:

It was SO delicious!! So glad we found this place!

It was right across from MOMA and next to Manolo Blahnik 😉

We then walked over to the tree.

The Beautiful Tree!

The weather was so warm around 65 degrees and with all the people it felt like it was in the 70s/80s.

A guy got down on his knees to take this picture for us!

It’s a good tree! 🙂

We ended the night at a friend’s Ugly Christmas Sweater party back in Hoboken.

I just love Christmas time in the city! Although we can get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle it’s important to enjoy all the fun and festive things that are going on!

How have you been getting in the Christmas spirit?
