Recent Eats: Ally’s Birthday Edition!

Happy Hump Day!!

It was my sister’s birthday last Thursday so we did a lot of celebrating! On Saturday night she had about 20 people over for a party. We did a bunch of appetizers and desserts, everyone’s favorite foods! I always say I could just eat a bunch of appetizers for a meal rather than a real meal, any day!

On her actual birthday we made fresh homemade pasta with a creamy pancetta and mushroom sauce.

To finish it all up pear and gorgonzola pizza and BBQ chicken pizza.

Then for dessert!

Magnolia Bakery Cupcakes

White chocolate and macadamia nut cookies.

Black and white cookies.

That is a wrap-up of all the party food! Everyone kept complimenting me and thanking me for everything. πŸ™‚ It’s fun for me to cook and bake for people! I genuinely enjoy doing it! Of course we have to make WAY too much food because we are Italian and Italians feed their guests!
