Memorial Day Weekend Recap

Summer time is (pretty much) here! My favorite time of the year, the pool, my birthday, no work, woot!! I was lucky to have a 4 day weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Woke up and enjoyed a run, love morning workouts!

Then hit up the salon for my color update. Purple power!

Then a much needed mani/pedi/eyebrows appointment.

Later on enjoyed a yummy dinner outside. Spinach, onion and feta pretzels.

After dinner baked these for a BBQ the next day.

Then got ice cream and ate it on the porch. Chocolate and Reese’s.

Woke up nice and early and fueled with a new to me flavor Larabar.

Took a spin class and a burn class.

Came home and ate some overnight oats outside. (Seriously LOVE eating outside).

Then off to my regular hair salon for a haircut.

Lunch courtesy of Panera. Fuji Apple Chicken Salad.

Then off to opening day of the pool!!!

Later on a BBQ at my friend’s house.

My S’mores bars were a hit, and I was told “Thank God you teach Spin class.” HAHA.

Then off to another BBQ with my sister and some of her friends!

Got into my FAV spin class! So much fun, so sweaty and just such a great time!

Came home and made some breakfast to eat outside.

Headed to Trader Joe’s to pick up my food for the week. When I got home I decided to put off my meal prep for Monday because I wanted to get in my pool time! Lounged at the pool for a few hours. Then came home and made homemade pasta.

And to end the night, ice cream round 2 of the weekend. It’s summer= ice cream happens OFTEN in my life.

I woke up and headed to the gym to do a mix of Body Pump 98 & 97.

Then headed home and did all my meal prep for the week.

Then headed to the pool for the new member Meet & Greet, to give out flyers for my Boot Camp! It was cloudy out, but nice to sit outside for a little while after the meet and greet.

Then I came home and made some dessert (recipe to come soon) had some snacks

and got everything ready for dinner. We ended up having some friends over, which was a lot of fun! The more the merrier!

We BBQed, hung out and enjoyed time together!

My Dad made the macaroni and potato salad with half mayo/half Greek yogurt! He is getting there πŸ™‚

S’mores Ice Cream Dessert!

Phew! What a fantastic weekend!! I can tell you that it was VERY VERY hard to get back to the grind today.

How was your Memorial Day?
