Happy Monday everyone! Whoa, did this past week FLY by? Why does summer go so fast? It needs to slow down! I had a pretty decent week of workouts. I eased back into strength training after taking some time off due to some tendinitis/muscular pain that keeps popping up.
4th of July Run
Birthday Workout- 30 minute spin ride, “30 Total Body Strength Session”
After my massage on Tuesday I woke up with terrible back pain so I skipped the gym especially since I had two client training sessions + my cycling class to teach that day (where I only had ONE person!! That woman rocked the ride!!).

I ran 5 miles!!! Longest run since I tore my labrum! I really didn’t feel much pain and decided this was the time to take advantage of it and go 5 miles. It was humid and sunny but I didn’t care because my labrum wasn’t hurting me!
I had a backyard boot camp to teach at 10am so I woke up at 5:30am to get to gym right as it opened at 7. Well the girl opening had some car trouble so there was a large group of us standing outside (real diehards haha) waiting for it to open until 7:15 when she came. I felt bad for the girl but I really think they should have two people opening and not leave it on one person to run and open a whole gym.
So I did Chest/Shoulder/Triceps and core (I am really continuously trying to keep up with core work all day everyday 🙂 )
A sweatyyyyy heart rate rocking spin class. Literally every time I take this class my HR goes a little higher than I have ever seen it before. It’s very cool to see that the interval training from cycling continues to make me more fit.
