Weekly Workouts: Sweaty Summer Time

Happy Monday everyone! How are you all surviving the heat? I have to say, I really don’t mind it at all. I am a summer baby and would much rather be sweaty and hot than cold. This past week we had some really gorgeous days too which was awesome for running!

Monday

I decided to start a new split routine so it was Chest/Tricep and Abs Day.

Then I trained two clients.

Tuesday

4 mile run + trained a client + taught Boot Camp at night.

It was weird, during the last mile I actually became overwhelmed with anxiety. I have never had that happen during a run, usually it relieves my anxiety. I had to take a few walking breaks, get my breathing under control and calm myself down. Anxiety is no fun.

Wednesday

Back + Biceps + Abs Day then trained two clients and taught my cycling class at night. The gym is slooowwww these days.

Thursday

4 miles sweaty run but I felt really good during this one. My labrum has not been much of a problem! Then I trained another client- super busy trainer!! 🙂

Later that evening I took an outdoor yoga class with my sister and two friends!

Friday

I had the morning off and I was so excited to get to the gym on my own time but I woke up totally dizzy. I had never felt that way before (except after a night of drinking haha) and decided that my body needed to rest. I drank a ton of water and just chilled for most of the morning before acupuncture. I felt better in the afternoon but it was very weird. My acupuncturist said that I could have just not eaten or drank enough because of all the outdoor activity I did the day before. Sometimes things don’t go as planned and we have to listen to our bodies, I am slowly but surely getting better at this.

Saturday

Leg & Shoulder Day!

Sunday

4 mile kinda painful run. I woke up late because I was down the shore the night before and decided since I missed my spin class that I wanted to do something so I went out a little later in the HEAT and although I didn’t mind that part, I could feel pain in my labrum. Some days it hurts, some days it doesn’t, I just have to roll with it and deal with how I feel.

Another great week of workouts!
